«Soroptimists» Intenational Organzation.

«Soroptimists» is the biggest women organization of all the world, which is in 124 countries and has more than 90 thousand members. Women--«Soroptimists» work in many different scopes of activities and represent many professions. This voluntary charitable NGO has a voice in the deliberations of the UN.

Organization "Soroptimists" established in Denmark in 1937, which now has more than 70 clubs. The goal of the organization is to assist and support those who are in distress. There are such as: victims of earthquake in Japan and the hurricanes in America, and the inhabitants of the Crimean regions that do not have clean water, hospitals in Lithuania, which are not provided with medical equipment and medicines, this orphans and poor families and so on. In Ukraine organization "Soroptimists" has been working for 17 years and has 7 clubs.

Soroptimists actively cooperate with the Chernihiv Regional charity organization "Aratta" and its director Victoria Filatova, as well as the League of Business and Professional Women of Chernihiv region, led by Irina Dorozhkina.
