“Choice-8” at Mena District Gymnasium.

On the 13 of November, 2014 the sixth session of the “Choice-8” – “Behavior in Crisis Situation” - was conducted in the Mena District Gymnasium by Helen Shkurat, social teacher, and Vladyslav Sereda, juvenile delinquency police officer. The eighth-graders benefited of the session that included an energizer, thematic presentation, group work, and role play. As well the students watched the documentary, “Say No” screened for the “Keepin’ It REAL” substance abuse prevention program at Pennsylvania State University.

The event was carried out within the project, “Human Rights of Children and Police”, that is supported by the USA Embassy in Ukraine Chernihiv Region Charitable Organization, "Aratta".
