Human Rights of Children and Police.

In the current academic year the Prevention Center, “Choice” implements substance abuse prevention program, “Choice-8” for eighth-graders at schools of Pryluky, Nizhyn, Mena and Stariy Bilous (Chernihiv District). The specifics of the Project are all training team include a Juvenile Delinquency Police Officer and a Social Teacher. So far the trainers from Pryluky, Svitlana Solovyova and Vladyslav Podruzhyn, have conducted three sessions of the “Choice-8” at the Pryluky School #10. Within the Program trainers demonstrate documentaries prepared by the Prevention Center, “Choice”.

The goal of the endeavor is to pilot “Choice-8” in schools of the Chernihiv Region and to test cooperation between Police and Education specialists in the substance abuse prevention sphere.

The Project is supported by the USA Embassy in Ukraine and Chernihiv Region Charitable Organization, “Aratta”.
