“Alice in Wonderland” - a charity performance of integration theatre «Dyvosad».

On January 5, at 14-00 in Chernihiv Regional Art Museum named by G. Galagan was a charity performance of «Alice in Wonderland" of Integration Theatre «Dyvosad», where among healthy young people and children there are children with disabilities playing. The show was supported by Chernihiv Club of Soroptimists International organization. All funds collected will go to help the actors of the Theatre «Dyvosad».

Theatre Studio «Dyvosad» was established on the basis of Chernihiv Region Charitable Organization "Aratta" in 2006. The first organizer and the leader was a teacher from Chernihiv National Pedagogical University named by Taras Shevchenko – Marina Karanda, and since 2010 — Irina Pisnya.

In this friendly team 16 amateur actors aged from 9 to 35 years are playing with creative inspiration, whom the parents and simply non-indifferent people help. Repertory of Theatre «Dyvosad" is rather complicated: "Chronicles of Narnia", "The Snow Queen", "The Little Prince".

"Dyvosad" is a theatre of integration, where actors are special people. They are special because they have different levels of disability. But that does not stop them to be creative and to do what they like. As it is known in art there are no disabled people. These actors more than others manifested duality of a theatre play that brings a person higher, but not above humanity. They don't want to feel compassion as sick people, they want to be able to live a normal life, to have a good job, to do things they love, to create. Theatre Studio «Dyvosad» is not just a theatre of rehabilitation of disabled people; it is a theatre of rehabilitation of our “hardened” brain. The Theatre was several times a participant of the International Festival «Beautiful Theatres» (in Tczew, Poland), and two-time winner of the Grand Prix of the Festival.
