Comon endeavor of Chernihiv and Odesa

In 13-15 September 2013 training the prevention trainers took place in the resort of “Desna”, located in the village of Ladynka of Chernihiv Region. Among participants there were:

16 students of the Chernihiv National Pedagogical University;

2 cadets of the Chernihiv Law College of the Penitentiary Service of Ukraine;

2 Police juvenile delinquencies officers;

3 lectures of the Pedagogical University;

Coordinator of the Project.

The event was conducted in the frames of the project “From Chenihiv to Odesa: Community Invovement into Enforcement of the Right of a Child on Protection from Harmful Influences”, that is being implemented by the Chernihiv Regional Charitable Organization “Aratta” in cooperation with the Odesa Regional Movement “Faith. Hope. Love” and supported by the USA Embassy in Ukraine.

Recently, in September 06-08, 2013, a similar seminar took place in the town of Kobleve, Mykolaiv Region, where prevention specialists for Odesa were trained. Altogether the trainers will have to implement substance abuse prevention program, “Choice”, that include 10 sessions, in 16 schools of Chernihiv and Odesa.
