February 12, 2013. On the 12th of February there took place the report-presentation of the projects, that were realized by the public organizations with support of the Town’s Council in 2012 year in town Chernihiv. In Chernihiv lives over 110 thousands young people aged 14-35, which is the third of the population of the town. In addition, over 70 thousand people are under the age of 18. A basic mean for realization of social meaningful projects for youth is the organization of an effective collaboration with the public organizations which are very active in Chernihiv, the co-ordinator is the department on the questions of families and youth of the Town’s Council. As a result of conducted by the department of family and youth competition of the projects for big families and young people in the town in 2012 developed by public organizations for children and young people, 17 projects got financing from the town’s budget by the decision of the competitive commission by the department in matters of families and young people of the town council. On the competition were presented 27 projects from 15 public organizations. The representatives of public organizations, which got a money from a town budget in a lump sum, – over 30 thousand hryvnas, informed about implementation of the projects and the results of their realization during the last year. Deputy of the Mayor Anna Romanova informed that the active co-operating of organs of local self-government with public and charitable organizations in the relation to realization of public youth policy gave positive results. The experience of public organizations in the field of co-operating with children and young people of the town is extraordinarily useful, in fact it helps the social formation and development the school-children and students, helps their initiative and activities in all spheres of living functions of the society. Among the most interesting and important projects were the following: «School of survival in the modern world» sport tourism club of CHDPU «Horizon»; «Green weekends» of CHMMGO «Apelsin»; «Youth work start» of CHMMGO the «Poliskiy fund of the international and the regional researches»; «School of journalism» of CHMO VMGO «Young Education»; «Territory of success» of ChR Charity «Aratta»; «The game-test «Games of patriots» of town rescue service of «SOS»; «Week-end under the sails» of CHMGO «Chernihiv yacht-club». The most interest is caused by the directions of the cultural - mass, and training work, arranging public events. «Some projects were very successful and it is desirable, that they continued the existence», - underlined Anna Romanova. According to the information of the department on the questions of families and youth of the Town Council during five years of holding the projects competition between public organizations on the whole 132 projects are submitted from 38 public organizations got a sum over 260 thousands UAH. For 2013 from a town budget to finance NGOs’ projects a sum of 35 thousand UAH is foreseen, a maximal sum of financing of every direction is 3 thousand UAH, minimum is 2 thousand UAH.
