Charity auction.

On December 4, 2012 "Aratta" took part in the exhibition and sale of works of children with disabilities and members of the clubs, which was held at a bowling-club “Street-light”. The exhibition was held in the frames of the charity auction "We see and understand people with disabilities", organized by the NGO "Parents’ Voice" which was dedicated to the International Day of Disabled.

Along with other organizations "Aratta" brought for review of the visitors the works made in such techniques as kvilling, beading, dough modelling, as well as the works of the children attending clubs and disabled children under the care of our organization.

In addition during the campaign, the participants had the opportunity to share experiences, to see works of other organizations and to participate in the program of the auction - a charity lottery, to listen to the presentation and to see videos about the possible help of every citizen to people with disabilities.

The event was held in a warm atmosphere in an interesting way according to the participants and guests opinion.

The auction ended with the performance of a member of Theatrical-studio "Dyvosad" of "Aratta", Lera Shkolnaia and a friend of "Divosad", a singing poet - Irina Eremenko. Irina sang several songs of her own. A 9-year-old Lera, who moves in a wheelchair, recited interesting poems on various subjects, and did it so expressively that one of the attendees presented her the mp3 player, which she won at the lottery. At the end, many of the participants received thanks letters and certificates. Aratta also received a thanks letter for the contribution to the development of charitable work in Chernihiv and for the participation in the auction.

 The administration of "Aratta" in its turn thanks all who provided their works for the exhibition and wishes them further success!
