Smile and Rehearsal

On the 04 of December 2012 the ninth ToT (training of trainers) for SAP (Substance Abuse Prevention) Program, CHOICE, took place in the Chernihiv National Pedagogical University. The session was traditionally conducted by Valeriy Ryabukha, SAP expert of Chernihiv Region Charity “Aratta”. The trainers had already conducted some CHOICE lessons at their schools. That is their big asset.

The students were divided for teams, that had to prepare and present models of the sessions: “Be Aware of Crime”, “HIV/AIDS: Challenge and Response”, and “Behavior in Crisis Situation”. Each presentation was followed by critical analysis. Cadets Aliona and Vadym, who had successfully conducted eight lessons of CHOICE, shared their point of view regarding crucial issues for success. Those are friendly smiles of trainers and rehearsal that constitutes 80% of success during a СHOICE session. The training was supported by the USA Embassy in Ukraine.
