Presentation of the Program “CHOICE”

In September 2012 Chernihiv National Pedagogical University, Education Department of the City of Chernihiv and Chernihiv Regional Charity “Aratta” started a new round of scientific research based prevention of drug abuse, HIV/AIDS and crime among eighth graders of Chernihiv schools. This year pedagogical university students will be conducting prevention program “Choice” in ten schools of the City, unlike two previous years when the program was conducted accordingly at three and five schools of Chernihiv.

Education Department defined that this year the “Choice” will be launched at the schools NN 1, 2, 3, 9, 14, 15, 18, 20, 21 and 34. Aratta traditionally supports the prevention with prize fund (small souvenirs) to encourage the adolescents for active participation in the Program and delegates its prevention expert – Valeriy Ryabukha.

With the purpose of preparing new team of trainers, on September 4 a presentation of the Program “CHOICE” was conducted in the University.
