Convoy of Hope 

After a big break in a one year, our sponsors – English transport company “Gist” had an opportunity to recover charity trips by their trucks with humanitarian aid from a charity organization “The British Humanitarian Aid” to Chernihiv regional charity “Aratta” in Ukraine. This time 2 trucks with total weight 21303 kilograms and four drivers: Simon Rowbottom, Martin Read, Roman Olejniszyn, John Bushby arrived to Chernihiv.

Drivers and guests, who arrive to us, are always interested in people, families, organizations, which receive help that they collect for us or transport from England. They learn a real situation by themselves, for a moment they become witnesses of the needy people lives in Ukraine and really can prove this to others, who don’t see this, that what they are doing is very important and that their partners in Chernihiv region are serious people.

In this connection drivers visited Chernihiv boarding school named by Y.Kotsubinsky and presented children with footballs and sweets, visited two poor families in the village Tupichiv in Gorodnyanskiy region, met a foster family with 11 adopted children in the village Vaganichi in the same region.
