The Birthday of district charitable organization "Aratta’s offsprings"

On that day volunteers of Chernigiv Regional Charitable Organization “Aratta” visited District charitable organization "Aratta’s offsprings" in village Makoshino to congratulate the staff on the 6-th anniversary of the organization. On that special day there were a lot of guests at "Aratta’s offsprings’" office, among them the Head of the Village Council, the Head of the Collective Farm, the Chief Medical Doctor of the local hospital, the Head of the Kindergarten and lots of friends and partners. The staff of "Aratta’s offsprings" in v.Makoshino consists of 37 volunteers now provides the assistance to people in the village itself and in addition in t.Mena, v.Velychkivka, v.Kukovychy, v. Zhovtneve, v.Slobodka and other small villages along the Desna riverside.

For their guests "Aratta’s offsprings" organized a performance of the children choir dressed in national costumes. They presented Ukrainian songs and verses. The Head of the host organization, Kolesnyk Natalia, made a short review of the "Aratta’s offsprings" activity, implemented and ongoing projects, cooperation with administration bodies and actual problems of the village.

One of the current projects is “Gray path of 100 ways”. This project is being implemented under support of the Embassy of Germany. The goal of this project is to create the chronicles of families, collecting information about the lives of elderly inhabitants of the village during the totalitarian regime. The estimated result of the project is the establishment of the inter-generation dialog.

During the party there was opened the Exhibition of Embroidered Pieces.

At the end of the day everybody came to a common conclusion that it is possible to support each other not waiting while the political and economical conditions will change to positive.
