Convoy of Hope

Chernigiv Regional Charity “Aratta” received the shipment of humanitarian aid from our main sponsor "British Humanitarian Aid" (UK). Total weight of the cargo is 21.050 kg. British transportation company “Gist” provided two free trucks for delivering of the humanitarian cargo. British drivers Derek, Brian Davies and Roman Olejniszyn under the leadership of John Bushby, who delivered the said aid, worked during that trip for free as well. We need to pay a special word of gratitude to John Bushby, as it is thanks to his energy “Gist” company keeps cooperating with Charities “British Humanitarian Aid” (UK) and “Aratta” (Ukraine).

Whilst being in Ukraine, our guests visited our branches in small town Shchors and Makoshino village of Mena district, where they found out more about the functioning of Community centers and paid visits to the families supported by “Aratta”.
