 “Only together we will make our world better”

Chernobyl disaster bells, after-perestroika processes become a thing of the past and now the Crises came. As the result people’s health grow worse, their prospection is not very optimistic and the most important thing is that people are changed, their attitude to the other people's misery and to the future of the own Country is changed.

Common values such as humanity, conscience, volunteering, tolerance, faith in goodness, sadly, but today they became a privilege of the select few.

Chernigiv Regional Charitable Organization “Aratta” has been working for the ten years in the public sphere so far. During the last three years it is engaged in the project of the Theatre Studio “DYVOSAD” (wonder garden).

“DYVOSAD” is a mixed group of young people with special needs and physically and mentally able youth. They take part in the Theatre studio activity on the basis of “equal to equal help” and actively applying in practice the position “Together” not just “Side by side”. As times go, youth social rehabilitation is very important, as youth should fill the own social materiality, should experience the success situations. All these shall breed the leader rather than inferiority complex.

The following performances were awardee as listed below:

- “New story about the Snow-white” (2006) “Audience Choice Award” (Poland)

- “Pea Miracle” (2006) – was performed at VIII All-Poland Festival of Social Arts, Lechna city.

- “Wonders will never cease” (2007) – Grand prize of Poland Festival of “Wonder Theatres”, Tschev city (Poland).

- “Sail down the river” – was performed at VII International Festival “Unbeaten track”, Lviv city.

As a course of the social integration of people with special needs the Theatre Studio “DYVOSAD” obtained the invitation to participate at the VII International Festival of “Wonder Theatres” for people with special needs, which is arranged in June 2-5, 2009 in Tschev city (Poland).

Our striving to present the culture of Ukraine on the international level as well as to help the Youth of the Theatre Group to realize there abilities was actively supported by the First Deputy Head of Chernigiv Regional Organization “Party of Regions”, the Deputy of the Regional Council, Miroshnichenko Anatoliy Kostiantynovych.

Anatoliy Kostiantynovych is more than good head of the family, leading the way for his children, he is also a Man of a Large Heart, who is not indifferent to the needs of others. We believe that actions speak louder than words, and if the actions are good, they speak twice louder.

The year 2008 became remarkable for Anatoliy Kostiantynovych, as Chernigiv Regional Council declared him to be a “Philanthropist of the Year”.

We trust that the investment of Anatoliy Kostiantynovych into our project and his philanthropy in general will be of much benefit for our Society and will be an example to follow.
