And again our Children go to Denmark.

In April from 6 to 15, 2009 the group of 34 children from families under the care of Chernihiv Charity Organization “Aratta” spent their holidays in Denmark, to be precise in Horsens. They were invited by Danish Charity Organization “Aratta’s Venner’s”. The leads of the organization Susanna Priesler, Vivian Stelmah Sorsensen, Jorn Stelmah Sorsensen together with the team of volunteers organized everything necessary for the children’s stay in Denmark as well as sightseeing program and plenty of presents.

This time our children had an opportunity to go to wild animals park, where they could observe the wild animals, and foreigners in particular, in the open environment; they visited the “Aqua” museum, it was the museum of all kind of water resources and animals which live there; in addition children spent a half of the day on the shore of Horsens-fiord. Sure enough the brightest impression was the day spent in the fun park «Legoland». But the day spent with Danish scouts of the same age was rather exciting for our children too. At that day children learned to pitch tents, to cook the meal in the open air, to build the tower and to play Danish games. As a memento of the visit each our child got the photo-portray and the collection of photos having been taken during the whole their stay in Denmark by the professional photographer.
