The New Year Childrens’ Party took place in Chernihiv Regional Charity “Aratta”.

The children from families under the care of “Aratta” and the children who attend Clubs of our organization were waiting with anticipation for appearance of St. Nicolas. As he always brings gifts for all the children!!! And our sponsors helped him to do that. They are Chernihiv Subsidiary of Obolon Trade Centre - provided tasty sweet drinks; Regional Department of “Children’s Fund of Ukraine” and chocolate factory “Strila” - granted sweets; private enterprise “Efes” - supplied with crumby rolls and sweet pound cakes. All children (about 170) were grateful very much for the presents. Members of all “Aratta” Clubs has been represented in the Festive Performance and all the participants were so nice and talented! There were tiny devilkins, tender angels, mystery Murky Night, and Bright Morning Star – Aurora. The variety of genres was really great. Songs both lyric and frolicsome, rousing dances and riddles were performed; there were lots of verses about Winter and about St.Nicolas recited heartily by the youngest participants.
