“Working visit to Denmark”

Recently the volunteers of “Aratta” have undertaken a working visit to Denmark. Our group ñînsisted of: Victoria Filatova, Chairwoman, Vitaliy Kravhenko, Deputy, Vasyl Zhadan, a Logistics Manager Alina and Halyna Oleksiv, a Volunteers They have got to Denmark by organization’s own “VOLVO” bus.

The main objective of the trip was to participate at Charity Fair prepared and organized by the volunteers of Charity Association “Arattas Venner’ in Horsens, Lund, Denmark.
During the fairy ChRCh “Aratta” activity in Ukraine and its cooperation with Charity Association “Arattas Venner” has been actively promoted for mass media. Promotion actions attracted vivid interest of local public. A special attention gained Alina Oleksiv’s interview made in Dutch. Alina and her family are under care of “Aratta” for a long time already. Last three years she had been invited and spent summer holidays in Susanne Priesler’s family, who is the president of “Arattas Venner” Association.

For Fair specially volunteers of Dutch association presented and made great number of household items, cards, flower compositions, books, sweets and so on. A number of local enterprises, stores and private people joined the activity, expressed their interest and voluntarily contributed goods and cash to action’s fund.

Susanne Priesler’s puddles “in ward” also made a substantial contribution, entertaining guests and the children with their professional tricks and earning cash in such way.

The event was a smash hit! Holiday mood, warm communication, coffee with sweets, attraction of some new members to Dutch association, and also a significant Fair result. The sum of cash gathered exceed all expectation – it is more than 8 thousand USD excluding organization expenses. These funds will be used to arrange the next holidays of Ukrainian children from needy families from Chernihiv region in Denmark.
