On January 16, 2007
The premiere of the Christmas drama presentation by the amateur theatre youth group “Divosad” took place on January 16, 2007 at the Chernihiv puppet theater, named after O. Dovzhenko. This performance was in Russian and lasted over one hour. It was a story about love, Christmas, and the interaction of children with disabilities and those without. Through the story, they hoped to show that light is victorious over darkness and used dramatic metaphors to express these ideas from Russian poems written during the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century. Poets included were I. Tutchev, I. Annenskij, M. Tsvetaeva, Yu. Baltrushajtis, V. Ivanov, V. Mayakovskij etc. The writer and director of the scene was Marina Karanda. Svitlana Kuprijanova was the choreographer. The director of this project was Victoria Filatova, the chairwoman of“ARATTA”.
